Workshop | Sex As Meditation: Intro

better sex mindfulness workshop Apr 04, 2018

An Introduction to Sex as Meditation: How to turn the erotic into a mindfulness practice.

One of the core beliefs of 'Sex As Meditation' is that erotic energy and sexuality are lenses that we can use to deepen into the experience of being human. This connection can help us feel more present and free in our lives. Therefore, in our sexual engagement lies the capacity to feel what is true for us at our core and become our own best teachers.

Sex as Meditation intends to break the bonds of detrimental social norms and establish a deeper more present relationship within ourselves and with others. Mindfully engaging our sexuality, our erotic selves, with pleasure and connection, allows us to connect beyond the conscious understanding.

In the workshop, we will explore:

  • how we feel and connect with our bodies
  • our relationships with our passion and desire
  • what stands in the way of getting what we truly want from our desires and erotic selves.
  • how to recognize and accept the intimacy, love and desire that are already present
  • how to live our lives more fully, creatively and openly

If you have been curious about meditation and mindfulness and how this can apply to your self expression, your relationships, and your sex life, please join us.

This introductory workshop does not include any nudity or explicit sexuality. All genders and sexual orientations welcome.
